One of the first steps to making your Urban Botanic business work for you is to take advantage of all training available to you.
Each and every day I would like you to take the time to call the "Today Counts" hotline for the tip of the day from McKenna.
The call takes less than 2 minutes to complete. You dial the number, McKenna gives us a tip for our business, you leave your name and state and tell her what you have done/will do that day for your UB business- even if the only thing you have done is make the call, you are doing something.
Do it, follow the tip and you will be successful.

Goal Contest
At our training meeting we were given a goal sheet to fill out by the next meeting. Everyone completing the sheet would get a gift. I am going to extend that to my entire team. Fill out the following and share it with us here on the blog- there are no right or wrong answers- do it by Jan 31 and I will send you a gift. I also have a spa package filled with loofas, nail brush, scrubber, long handle file, pumice stone, body massager in a cute case. Everyone that fills out the goal sheet will be entered in a drawing to receive this package. So lets get filling.

2009 news
Hello team!
This blog has sat idle for too long. I have also neglected most of you for too long. I just got home from a training meeting for the local Urban Botanic Fragrance Designers. While there I made a decision.
I have decided that I would like to be more in touch with each of you, but writing a newsletter has gotten to be a chore for me. Blogging however, is a lot easier. I have decided that I will do the newsletter here in the blog instead of a monthly/bi-monthly newsletter.
I think it will work better because I can do it in chunks instead of all at once. I can spread the news, hurrahs, recognitions, etc. on an ongoing basis.
I will try and get an e-mail newsletter out to all team members this weekend and then start next week with the concepts learned at today's meeting. This is going to be the year of UB's first national director. Why shouldn't it be us?
